she was beautiful

that bit was beyond saying

if beauty isn’t everything

could see clear

she was not a contributor

& i was struggling

get beyond the bills

she left me slow

clearing out bit by bit

which i affected

not to see

life is easier

saw her later

pushing her baby

saying best wishes

if thinking

giving her one of those

supporting her life
