contemplating

ok it’s a brandy side

lager beer front & centre

Saturday afternoon

while my girl gets

to spend her money

somewhere around town

i’m meditating on

my place in her life

that of mine own

i don’t go shopping now

with her that is

the expectations that

i will wait

hover around changing rooms

while she tries out outfits

she is never going to buy

but

if i want to look at clothes

go into motorcycle shops

she will move on

leave me there

& todays ponder

is this a good thing?

getting time alone

to talk motorcycles

but clothes i like

or a double standard

on her time v mine?

i reckon another round needed

to solve this mystery
