there were a few

one or two

graced me with

couple of years of

their lives

thankfully we

just shacked up

lived together

co existed if you will

never serious enough

to tie the knot

or more controversial

i was wise enough

in my madness

of passion

to realise these were

not the marrying kind

if i loved them

each & every single one

feel a glow sometimes

on low nights

thinking of them

that i could

if asked nicely

love them still

knowing full well

in this way
