my girl is diagonal to me

looks over as we get to health

one of us has been ill

had to find a full family history

later comes people buying houses

investments stocks & bonds

she looks over again knowing

I have nothing to offer here

if everybody knows my story

tho’ sometimes they try to forget

I never had their inheritances

they like me as a reader & writer
